Bonnie Jean Siemer was born to Earl and Thelma Siemer on October 19, 1940. The family lived in Oxford, Kansas and Bonnie graduated from Oxford High School, soon after her brother John was born. She worked at Winfield State Hospital as a psychiatric aide for several years.
She married Dale Belisle in 1967 and they had one daughter, Cindy, and a son who died at birth. The family lived in Benton and then for many years in Wichita, Kansas and loved to have family come to visit and enjoy their pool. Bonnie enjoyed taking care of her family and her dog Peppy. Dale died after a long fight with cancer in 1994 and Bonnie went to work as a housekeeper for Days Inn near her home. Bonnie also enjoyed her grandchildren and was sad to see them move to Lebanon in 1999. Bonnie moved in January 2001 to Terrace Gardens Assisted Living apartments as she began having more problems with memory loss. In November 2001 she moved to the Catholic Care Center in Bel Air, KS to the Memory Care Unit.
She was preceded in death by her husband Dale and her parents and two sisters, Bettie and Carol. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Sean, three step-daughters, Lynette, Pamela, Kimberly, and ten grandchildren, and her brother John (Anita), many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation from 12pm-1pm on Saturday, May 13th with the Funeral Service to follow at 1pm both at Hillside Funeral Home West. A private graveside service will be held at Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta, Kansas.

Memorial established with Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S. Market, Wichita, KS 67202.
